The charging handle body has thicker walls and smaller gas vents from its predecessor to reduce flex without increasing weight. The Ambidextrous design allows charging of the weapon from both the primary and support positions. The body and handles are made from 7075 billet aluminum and Mil-spec Type III hard anodized.
